The TIYGA app is the same for all users, but everyone can choose which profile suits them best when signing up for an account. Once you have signed up for an account with an associated profile, you cannot change the profile (tracking parameters) so please choose your profile carefully. You can view short videos and/or GIFs to see how profiles look in the TIYGA app. These videos and/or GIFs show what can be tracked in each profile and should help you decide which profile to sign up to. If you want your login details to be remembered tap on the “Remember me” box on the login screen of the TIYGA app. By doing this, you can enter data or view reports without having to enter your email and password. However, it does mean that anyone who opens the app on your device could also do so. It is your choice whether you use "Remember me" or not.
  • D3. What are the Rating Scales?
The Rating Scales are 0-10 numerical sliding scales. The Rating Scales enable you to indicate how you feel now, or how often you have done or felt something since you last reported. You simply tap the scale or draw your finger across it to indicate a score.
  • D4. What are the Activity Diary and Health Diary?
There are two diaries in the TIYGA app – the Activity Diary and the Health Diary. Both diaries aim to help you discover useful patterns in your activity or health experience based on duration, sequence, time of day and frequency of occurrence. The purpose of having 2 diaries is to allow you to choose if you wish to record data on either or both diaries. If you use both, then you will be able to see patterns in relationships between what you do and how you feel which may help you to understand if you want to make changes. These diaries allow you to enter data in 15min intervals by drawing coloured bars. It may be that you need to do some activities for longer/shorter or more/less frequently to see an improvement - pacing is an important technique in health and performance management.
  • D5. What should be recorded in the Observations tab?
The Observations tab in the TIYGA app presents a simple checklist of items which you may find have an impact on your health condition(s)/symptoms. For example, you may be trying to choose healthier options, find out what if a solution was effective. Typically, the simple checklist includes things: that you may consume; that may trigger or flare your health condition(s)/symptoms; and that may help calm, reduce, or relieve your health condition(s)/symptoms.
  • D6. How do I enter data in the Rating Scales?
For each Rating Scale, drag the slider scale horizontally across your device screen using one finger. Drag or tap the scale to display whatever number you feel represents how you are feeling at that moment in time on the 0-10 scale. After you have finished entering all your Rating Scale scores, tap on “Done” and then on “OK” to upload your data. To get the most benefit from using the rating scales, you should try to be as consistent as possible when entering data. For example, a score of 7 will always be higher than a score of 3 - but what is important is that a 7 always means the same level of intensity in your terms etc. Then you will feel more confident in comparing scores entered several weeks or months apart to know if something has improved or deteriorated or maybe stayed the same. As an example, look at the TIYGA Profile tab to see our illustrative "Mobility and Movement Scale". The purpose is to help people to rate daily changes in how they feel and help them to plan their time to feel as good as possible.
  • D7. How do I enter data in the Activity Diary or Health Diary?
In the Activity Diary or the Health Diary, you can draw bars in 15min intervals in the relevant column to indicate the start and finish time of each activity or how long you felt that level of health impact. You can add notes to remind you of details. After you have finished entering data, tap on the “Back” button (on your device) to return to the Home Page of the TIYGA app. Drawing a coloured bar, in 15min intervals, is the quickest way to build a picture of what you were doing and feeling - to record the context of why, what, how long etc. This can be especially important when recovering from injury or surgery or establishing whether a health treatment is working for you. It can take too much effort to write down all you did, but TIYGA makes it quick and easy to capture the detail and see patterns that can help you to plan your time better.
  • D8. Can I draw more than one bar at any time interval in the Activity Diary or Health Diary?
Only one bar can be drawn in any time interval. If you draw a new bar, it will automatically replace any existing bar that you had already drawn. This may delete any note you associated with the overwritten bar. It is best to draw the bars before adding any notes. Tip: If you want to delete a lot of short bars, just draw a single parallel bar that will overwrite them, then you only have 1 bar to delete.
  • D9. How do I view any time of day in the Activity Diary or Health Diary?
Place one finger on the times column and drag it up and down vertically to see any time of day, 24hrs, from midnight through to midnight. At any time, you can tap the clock icon (on top of the times column) to return to the current time on screen (see red horizontal line).
  • D10. How do I enter data in the Observations screen?
In the Observations screen, for all relevant observations at that moment in time, tap on the grey + icon next to an observation and you will see the grey + icon turns to a green tick icon. When you have selected all relevant observations for that moment in time, tap on “Done” and then on “OK” to upload your data. All your entries will be timestamped, they cannot be entered retrospectively. You can add a free text note to explain more about the circumstances or your reasons for taking/doing whatever you checked, or why you did not do/use it. You can explain if your entry refers to a previous time (e.g. if you were in a hurry and unable to enter data soon after the occurrence, the note can help you to remember any relevant points). After you have finished, tap on the “Back” button (on your device) to return to the Menu Page of the TIYGA app.
  • D11. Can I go back and enter data for previous days in the Rating Scales?
You can only enter data in the Rating Scales for the current day and time - all entries will be timestamped.
  • D12. Can I go back and enter data for previous days in the Activity Diary or Health Diary?

If you want to get back to the current day and time after entering data in previous days, then either: 1) tap on the forward arrow (top right) of the diary and you can go forward days to the current day; or 2) tap on the clock icon (this will return you immediately to the current date and time).

If you want to delete or edit the note but keep the activity, use the backspace on the soft keyboard then enter the new note and press "Save". If you want to delete both the note and the coloured bar, then press "Delete Activity". You will be asked to confirm that you really want to delete them. Alternatively, you can simply draw a parallel coloured bar and add/save a note to record what you want.
  • D17. How do I delete a note I have entered in Observations screen?
You cannot delete notes that you have entered in the Observations screen.
  • D18. What is the clock icon in the Activity Diary or Health Diary?
If you tap on the clock icon in the Activity Diary or the Health Diary you will be returned immediately to the current date and time. This is useful if you are looking back at previous days to enter missing data or correct anything that may not have been entered in the detail you would like.
  • D19. What is the red line in the Activity Diary or Health Diary?
The red line shows the current time in the Activity Diary and the Health Diary. The purpose is to guide you if you want to draw a bar to say what you have been doing/feeling until "now".

Tell us if you want the profile for a research project, or to engage or support your employees or members or your followers in social media. By becoming a TIYGA Profile Sponsor, your audience gets the experience of an app with tracking parameters chosen by you and fitting with your own processes and advice, while you don't have the hassle of maintaining an app. You can sponsor profiles for different sub-groups who have different needs and goals. Let's talk about what we can achieve together!
  • F2. How do I become a TIYGA Profile Sponsor?
Becoming a TIYGA Profile Sponsor is a committment, it requires you to define the tracking parameters for app users within a profile that is tailored for a particular purpose. You must define all tracking parameters in terms that will be readily and easily understood by all those who choose that profile. TIYGA can assist with a facilitated profile development workshop. Rather than being in specialist medical language, it must be in language that app users will immediately and consistently understand. It should also be in language that relevant professionals will understand. There is an art in defining a profile for a use case, describing that use case in a way that users know whether the profile will benefit them and doing so within the parameters of the TIYGA software. There is some time and thinking involved to leverage a sponsor's cumulative knowledge, experience and wisdom into the TIYGA template so that many people can benefit. There is a fee for becoming a TIYGA Profile Sponsor.
  • F3. What are the benefits of becoming a TIYGA Profile Sponsor?
TIYGA is a pioneer and trailblazer in offering a holistic app that can be tailored to the needs of a wide range of use cases. Being a sponsor brings with it the visibility and credibility of being a thought leader and highly respected domain champion. Your logo will be visible to users choosing their profile to use and on all the reports that they view and download and then choose to share. This signals that your knowledge and expertise are guiding their daily recording and engagement with the app. By sponsoring a profile, you are leveraging your vast knowledge of your speciality area - this may be as an employer or in research, healthcare delivery, patient support or as an influencer. You are engaging the users in knowledge animation, bringing knowledge to life - your accumulated knowledge over many years and their daily lived experience. The benefit of combining this knowledge, in a structured way, allows powerful insights to be obtained at individual and aggregate level. As a sponsor, you are demonstrating your thought leadership and enabling many others to benefit from your expertise.
  • F4. Is there a cost for being a TIYGA Profile Sponsor?
Yes there is a cost, that cost will depend on a number of factors for example how long you would like your sponsored profile to be available within TIYGA and how many people you think will choose your profile. We also need to decide if your profile is sufficiently different and distinctive from others as we do not wish to confuse app users by having too many profiles that are too similar.
